Description

Brest is an important port city located in the west of Finistère is protected in the Rade de Brest. The city is called the "City of the Ponant"  because of its status as a commercial port. Among other things, the city is known for its Brest castle, which gives an impressive view of the port area. Every four years, the city has its maritime festivals, which is a great event for passionate boaters.

Navigation

The castle marina is located in the center of the city, between the commercial port and the military port. The protected port can be accessed at all times. It is forbidden to enter the military zone. In addition, you have to be careful with the numerous ships in the entrance pass.

Berths

There are 700 berths afloat and on floating pontoons, of which 125 are reserved for visitors. Reception is at the pontoons on the inside of the south jetty. Mooring and anchoring are possible.

Surroundings

A telephone and laundry facilities are at your disposal. You will find many restaurants around the harbour and in Brest city centre, which is within walking distance.
