The Zelliner Umfluter falls dry at low water.
Some Odra oxbow lakes serve as bypasses. At high water the water is led through the opened weirs and thus the flow velocity in the main stream is reduced. At low water the weirs are closed so that the target depth in the main stream can be maintained.
