Description

Tisno, small place on the island of Murter at the narrowest point of the Murterski Channel. Tisno bascule bridge is the only connection to the mainland. The newly built quay is located east of the bridge, with a red fire at the eastern end.
One is in front of the town center with the port office and all utilities. The quay has 2-2.3m water depth one can walk alongside the concrete pier or lie in front of stern anchors.

A beautiful shore path leads to the ACI Marina, past the small church on the shore rocks.
The village of Tisno, the name means street, was first mentioned in 1474, during the  Turkish invasion.
