Postira, a small harbour on the north side of the island of Brac
with some fishing and excursion boats on the eastern breakwater. On
the inside of the western, green moored pier there are about 20
berths for guests with water and electricity on 4 WT and on the
jetty in front of the quay wall on 1.8m to 2.4m. A nice place with
many restaurants and good shopping facilities. Postira was
already14. The stone buildings and some palaces speak of the rich
trading history of the village. They were built of Brač marble from
the surrounding quarries.
