Description

ACI Marina Dubrovnik at the end of Rijeka Dubrovacka has 380 berths and 20 shore berths, 30t travel lift and is 6 km from the center of Dubrovnik. The marina is well connected by public transport with the historical city. The marina offers good service and a grocery store. Rijeka Dubrovačka is a ria, a deep sea bay into which flows the shortest river in Europe - the Ombla. It rises as a karst spring in a large cave near the district of Komolac. The Ombla is navigable for 3.7 km and its water has been used for the water supply of Dubrovnik since 1437. The part of the Ombla not influenced by the sea is only about 20m long. At the " mouth" into the Adriatic Sea, the 49m high Franjo Tuđman Bridge spans the Ria.
