Sveta Nedilja is a small village on the south side of the island
of Hvar at the foot of the highest mountain on the island, Sveti
Nikola at 628 m.
Above the village, on the mountain Sveti Nikola, is the prehistoric
cave "Sveta Nedilja", it is easily accessible by footpath and very
worth seeing.
Today the place is known for one of the best red wines in Croatia -
Plavac Mali.
The area has also become a very popular destination for free
climbers because of its many perfect rock walls.
