Die Steganlage liegt im tidefreien Nordhafen  in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Seeschleuse.

Seeschleuse Wilhelmshaven:
Betriebszeiten sind 24h täglich. Schleusungen für die Sportschifffahrt sind jederzeit möglich, sofern zur selben Zeit keine Sammelschleusungen durchgeführt werden. Anmeldung mindestens 1h vor Ankunft an der Schleuse. Änderungen der gemeldeten Ankunftszeit von mehr als 2h sind der Schleuse sofort mitzuteilen unter Tel:+49 4421 755760 oder UKW- Kanal 13 (Wilhelmshaven Lock).

Sammelschleusungen für Sportboote (Mitte März bis Anfang Oktober):
Fr 15:30-15:45 Uhr (seewärts)
Sa, So 08:45-09:00 Uhr (seewärts), 15:00-15:30 Uhr (binnenwärts).

zusätzliche Sammelschleusungen (April bis Mitte September):
Fr 17:15-17:30 Uhr (seewärts)
Sa 13:15-13:30 Uhr (seewärts)
So 17:00-17:30 Uhr (binnenwärts)

an Feiertagen (Karfreitag, Ostersonntag/-montag, 1. Mai, Himmelfahrt, Pfingsten, 3.Oktober) 08:45-09:00 Uhr (seewärts), 15.00-15:30 Uhr (binnenwärts)
