Navigation

The approach is via the buoyed and lighted Süderelbe.  The Kattwyk lift bridge opens day and night.

Shortly before the Elbe bridges is the small dockyard harbor on the south bank of the Elbe.

NV Land Guide

Die Bootswerft Knief besteht seit 1927, wurde von Alfred Knief gegründet und seit 1980 von Peter Knief mit neu errichtetem Werftbetrieb weitergeführt. Der Bootsbauer beschäftigt sich mit Neubauten der besonderen Art.

Durch die Kombination von GFK- und Holzbauweise werden traditionelle Elb-H-Jollen und der Jugendwanderkutter erhalten. Peter Knief ist der einzige Bootsbauer, der diese Einheitsklassen weiterhin in hochwertiger Ausführung herstellt.

Die kleine Bootswerft bietet neben der Lagerung auch einen Yachthafen und den üblichen Service.
