Description

The Krka is 72.5 km long and rises near the town of Knin in the Dinarid Mountains at an altitude of 22 m and flows into the sea at Šibenik The river is protected by the National Park Krka. Below the waterfalls of Skradinski Buk the fresh water turns into brackish water and up to here the river is navigable by sea.
