Description

Ston,  historical place in a fertile plain, surrounded by salt panson the peninsula Peljesac. 

 One reaches the place from the south through the Stonski channel. From the place Broce on the southern shore, the outer pier head is fired (FL.R.3s), the elongated bay becomes a dredged channel.  The channel is buoyed and fired and dredged to 3m depth through a narrow gorge, with on both sides  steep cliffs of the over 200m high mountains. 

The harbour is located on the south shore and is newly developed with water, electricity and stern moorings at the bulwark with 3m water depth.                                             You can also moor on 2m WT at the northern quay wall by the salt works drainage ditch.          The historic village with  stone houses,  narrow streets and protected by fortified walls lies behind - see info text.
