Description

Luka Prožurska in the northeast of Mljet a beautiful bay, especially protected by the offshore island Planjak and the 2 smaller island. This almost closes the entrance from the east. A passage with 2m water depth is between the two small islands. The local fishermen pass with shallow boats also through the Senjeva Vrata, between the island Senjevac and Mljet. The bay is quite deep with 20m and the place in front of the shore for anchoring, is almost everywhere occupied with moorings. On the western shore, just at the entrance is a small quay with 3m water depth decreasing to 1.4m. The restaurant "Barba" is located in the middle of the large bay and has yellow moorings, in front of the restaurant is a quay with 1.2m water depth The island "Priježba" connected by a bridge divides the bay, to the east is the restaurant "Marijina" with a jetty, 1.6m water depth.
On the shore is a small resort with restaurants, a car, scooter and boat rental, but no shopping facilities. The actual place Prožurska with the church is located slightly above on the mountain.
